Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm – No Weekends!

MOT licence is preferred but not essential – can be provided
Monday Matters Recruitment is proud to be working with a state-of-the-art main dealer site in Canterbury, and we are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician/ MOT Tester to join their high-performing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern, well-equipped workshop, representing a respected automotive brand and benefiting from ongoing training and career progression — with the added benefit of a Monday to Friday schedule (no weekends).
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards

Conduct MOT testing in line with DVSA regulations (where applicable)

Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment

Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard

Maintain accurate records of all work carried out

Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver exceptional customer service
Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

MOT Tester licence preferred but not essential

Previous experience in a main dealer or busy workshop environment

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Full UK driving licence

A proactive, team-oriented approach
