Our client, a well-established main dealership based in Maidstone, Kent, is seeking a dedicated and experienced LCV/ Van Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing light commercial vehicles (LCVs), ensuring safety standards and quality procedures are upheld. The role requires a proactive approach and a strong technical background in LCVs, with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and routine servicing of light commercial vehicles

Identify faults and implement effective solutions in a timely manner

Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out

Adhere to health and safety standards at all times

Assist in inventory management and ensuring the workshop tools and equipment are well-maintained

Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively about repair needs and completion times

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure workshop efficiency and high standards of workmanship
Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience as an LCV/Van Technician in a recognised workshop or dealership

Relevant technical qualifications and certifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds)

Strong diagnostic skills and hands-on experience with light commercial vehicles

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

Good communication skills and a professional approach
