Automotive Progress Chaser
Location: Thurleigh, Bedfordshire
Salary: £33,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4:30pm
The Role
My client are looking for a proactive and organised Automotive Progress Chaser to join their busy fleet operation in Thurleigh.
You’ll play a key role in keeping vehicles moving through the refurbishment and preparation process, making sure they are completed on time, within agreed SLAs and ready for collection to the required standard.
Working closely with workshop, yard, fleet and despatch teams, you’ll monitor progress, identify potential delays and make sure the right action is taken quickly.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor daily vehicle progression, turnaround times and SLA performance.

Identify vehicles that are delayed or at risk of missing deadlines.

Chase estimated completion dates, bookings, parts ETAs and other key information.

Keep vehicle management and fleet systems accurately updated.

Coordinate daily workshop priorities to maximise productivity and meet SLAs.

Provide clear and timely updates to internal teams and fleet customers.

Liaise with fleet, automotive and despatch teams to ensure vehicles are ready for collection on time.

Proactively resolve issues and keep vehicles moving through the process.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is organised, confident and great at communication, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll ideally have experience within automotive, fleet, vehicle refurbishment, workshop or logistics, although strong organisational and communication skills are just as important.
